Pink Snow

I don't know what kind of trees these are (the bark looks like cherry) but the yards on our street are lined with them. A considerably windy day combined with the finish of their blooming....presto! Instant wonderland for my kids!

Not coincidentally the kids are learning this hymn:

This is my Father’s world, and to my listening ears
All nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres.
This is my Father’s world: I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas;
His hand the wonders wrought.
