We had to have a tree taken down in our back yard recently. It was hanging dangerously over our house and our neighbors. Although I must admit I was sad to see this giant leveled, the kids were beside themselves with excitement watching the men in bucket trucks, buzzing chainsaws and of course, the crane! The redemptive view: Daddy might build them a tree fort on top of the stump, and we have a whole yard full of firewood for next year!
